I don't normally comment on peoples avatars but this one is exellent. I had to look several times and finally restort to looking at the profile to make sure I was seeing who I thought I was seeing. Great Photo.

Happy New year !!

Thank God the holidays are over.

As someone who loves the holidays, I wholeheartedly agree. This not getting mail and everything being closed is for the birds.

The Lioness always cares for her cubs and sees that they are happy.

I have had what feel like the beginings (sp?) of a cold for a couple of days. On a happier note my cousin and his wife/cousin had their baby yesterday.

That is the very best compliment I could ever get. Thank you so much!

***gee, I hope you were talking about me and weren't watching/commenting on something on Animal Planet.

I hope you don't get sick, Sarah.

Congrats on the new addition to the family! I hesitate to ask...do you mean that his wife is *his* cousin or that she's also your cousin or that she's your cousin, too, by marriage to him?

I don't have a TV--so I wasn't watching Animal Planet.

You are welcome.

I guess I was unclear there was no cousins marrying cousins. The father is my cousin I figure when he got marred his wife became a cousin through marriage...not blood.

I would like to assure you all that the lights GC put on the tree were in absolutely no danger of falling off accidentally.

Every year as I'm "putting away" I swear I'm not going to put so much up next year. And every "next year" I do it again.

My poor kids - I have no I say ~NO~ holiday spirt and don't decorate.
DD always trys to get me to get a tree, but why would I want a decaying piece of lumber in my house. Think she'd give up after 24 years.
