That i serve a faithful, steadfasat, and true God. Who tells us no when its for our own good. He is all we need and I thank Him that He has given me this time to fall head over heals in love with HIM, the creator of my life.

I thank God for trials. Really. I'm not trying to be super spiritual or anything like that - I really am thankful for trials. I am thankful also for delay, because delays are really just extended preparation. And trials strengthen us and make us grow. So, I'm thankful for them. Now ... that doesn't mean I'm happy about them ... just means that I recognize their purpose and that I'm glad that all the suffering isn't for nothing.

I can, do, and will continue to thank Him that whatever gave my dog the funny shakes was not an end-of-life time for him.

I am thankful for the ways God provides. I have been a little concerned about how all that is involved in my getting rid of this cancer will affect me financially. I haven't voiced this concern outwardly because I didn't want anyone to feel any obligations. But, the day before yesterday God laid it on someone's heart to pay for my April rent.
What a blessing!

Although this is a difficult time in my life, I'm thankful to God for glimpses of the future. A few years ago, I started to see people who were going through really difficult times in their lives. I was able to be helpful, but the whole time I had this sensing that this was going to be the next step for me - that there was going to come a time of serious struggle and loss - and it happened - it came to pass - and this is where I am right now, in the midst of what - in many ways - is one of the worst times in my life (but paradoxically also one of the best times too ... don't quite understand how both can coexist but they do!)
Interestingly enough, I'm now surrounded by people who are coming out of the time of struggle. I'm watching people move into a "springtime" type season in their lives after having been shaped by adversity. Even though it isn't happening to me right now, I'm excited for them as if it were happening to me. I feel that way because I know how they've struggled and I'm happy that things are going well for them. But also, I've got that same gut feeling as before, that this is where I am heading as well. So, I thank God for those little glimpses that He gives us - that keep us encouraged as we move forward with hope in our hearts!

I am thankful for God's provision. It's tough being a single person and only have a limited amount of income. I tithe ten percent and the Lord takes care of the rest. Thank You Jesus.

I am thankful that He gave me enough of His love to forgive someone who hurt me pretty badly.
I'm also thankful that He inspired the band Among the Thirsty to write the song I'd Need a Savior (see the Aimes' siggy  ). It makes me feel such peace and comfort just hearing all the names of my savior.
