if a guy likes you a little bit without being obivious, do they like you more than a friend,or just enough to sleep with you.worldly men are like that, what about christian men.

Not all worldly men are like that. Men can like a woman as friend while having absolutely no attraction to her. I have many female friends that I would never want to date. The reasons why they are my friends is due certain commonalities such as; hobbies, musical tastes, similar viewpoints, etc. Besides I a sure some of them would not want to be with me if I was the last man on earth. I am just not their "type". Likewise they may not be my type. Yet we get along well. To me they are like one of the guy and hang out with the guys in my "crew".

Polite, friendly, cordial without asking hanging all over you, gazing in to your eyes, being too touchy or asking you for a date.

I got this fantastic LOVE that was put in my heart when the Holy Spirit made his home in me, it is a love that the world does not comprehend, they try to define it, explain it, fill in blanks of the motive or intention is, try to pretend like they understand it. but they can't, and don't.
I can only speak for myself, but if I like you without being obvious...... as a christian, it may mean that I love you with a Jesus love, or like a sister...... & if it was something else I would tell you.

yes you can love somebody the way the lord want you love somebody, a sprituaL LOVE even if god has bought two people togather it is very different from what the world thinks, the world thinks as pysical or romantic love,but as a christian it like a guenine caring for the other person,excuse the spelling.

this is what I meant,you can't explain it, the hard part is when your attracted to him or her, and you have to deal with your flesh crucify it, eros belongs in marriage so why do we have to deal withlust when your attracted alot

I thnk the apostle Paul said it best in Romans 7:15
-what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but i am doing the very things I hate....... no longer am I doing it, but sin which dwells in me, for I know that nothing good lives in me that is in my flesh, for the willingness is present in me, but the doing is not, for the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very things I do not want to do,........... Why? Because we live in a fallen world and because it seems from biblical example and biology that God designed us to be married soon after puberty and because in this modern society if we try to live a godly life as a single we are starved for affection (both emotional and physical) and starved for sexual release.
It is like you have not eaten for days and now you are sitting down with a plate of your favorite food in front of you. Is it strange that your stomach starts growling and you are almost fainting at the smell of those delicious morsels? Of course not. God designed us to get hungry and seek food.
So it is now that you are starved and here is a person who could take care of all those needs. Is it strange you have desires? No. It means you are alive and functioning as God made you to be.

thank you,I haven't look at it that way, sometimes we are taught that it is wrong to think about those normal desires and it is a sin,and that we are to keep our mind on godly things and not the flesh, instead that it normal and human, when we are atraccted to someone .  very good answer !

I have some women who are friends, granted, I am looking at one to more than just friends. ANd it has nothing to do with sleeping with them....that goes for all of them that I do know.
I have several close ones....they are ones I would consider dating should I feel that she has the same feeling. As in dating for marriage, not as dating for sex.
